Koura Bay Estate Wines is a family owned company, committed to producing premium wines from the Marlborough region. Geoff and Diane Smith carefully manage their Koura Bay Estate which is located on the banks of the Awatere river in Marlborough.

Koura Bay has plantings totalling 21 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Riesling. The low cropping levels, attention to detail in the vineyard and hand-picking at harvest maximise the fruit and concentration of the wines. The Awatere Valley has been described by the chairman of Wine Marlborough as "the jewel in the crown" of Marlborough wine growers.

The name Marlborough has quickly become synonymous with quality in many markets in the world.
